This area, in my opinion, is the most important contribution I have to share. It is the root foundation from which all other inspirations have come from on this website. Any thinking person of honesty and integrity quickly becomes discouraged with religious writings, religion, spirituality and the mess the world seems to be in all the time. This discouragement gets worse if they take a look at the historical records beliefs become even more complicated. How do we make sense of it all? Many even question if "God" even exists. THE FIVE PART DIVINITY AND TRUTH FILTER: THE DIVINE:
"The Divine: is; unlimited; unconditional love. All has Divine Purpose, Nothing is "Less Than". All serves and is subject to the Divine." David's Law: "Harm none, heal all" Any teaching, doctrine, history, command, directive, law, other that goes against any of these 5 elements is not, cannot be of Divine Origin. This is not about right or wrong. It is about clarification of source. Not all of human law and doctrine is bad. However, we should never use human law or doctrine as if it comes from "the almighty". Our actions must be tempered with truth and understanding. If we wish to reflect what is of the Divine in our lives then we must "filter" our actions, our thoughts, our laws, our doctrines, our teachings through a filter that empowers us to know what is of Divine and what is of Human source. "All" means "ALL" 2/4/2005 A TEST!: Many "Claim" they have the whole truth and nothing but the truth and their "truth" came from the "true" deity. I tell people...if I can find 1 lie, or 1 error, or 1 irresolvable contradiction in their "holy" writings they must admit it could not of "all" been from Deity. This is an important point. People around the world have to wake up and realize they do not have an "exclusive" on Deity. Deity does not pay favorites, does not discriminate, does not support racism, nor elitism. You cannot claim a perfect "Deity" with an imperfect revelation or teaching from Deity. Folks justify things, but really - we must have a filter to sort out "Divine" from "Human Understanding and/or manipulation." We have Muslims killing Muslims over hair cuts. We call them "extremists". Every religion has them. Until religions "admit" the truth of their foundations and histories there will always be confusion and conflict. When you allow "doubt" or clarification of origin - extremists do not have a foundation to act on "orders from God". "Harm None - Heal All" - my message to anyone, and every "extremist" of any religion. How can you accomplish your mission without harm to others. How can you "Heal" you enemy and make your world a better place? This is the only path that can be of Divine Origin. Here are some basic examples Judaism and Christianity - "The Bible" dictates racism, slavery and indentured servitude. Jews are commanded not to charge interest to fellow Jews but to charge maximum interest to non-Jews. (Racism). This is part of Christianity, and they side step it with the "New Testament", i.e. God changed the rules (i.e. irresolvable contradiction) we have slavery, we have women "less than"...don't talk in Church, cover your heads, etc. Priests and Cardinals are to be married (what a mess that is), and the very core of Christianity limits the Divine to knowledge and acceptance of Jesus. This is a "blind faith" thing. Most folks are truly with Thomas, "prove it", if Jesus would prove himself to Thomas, why not me? Good question. Islam - the Koran in several places says the "Earth" is flat. Hummm, no defense there. That by the way is a Period Roman Catholic teaching. Folks should wonder how did that end up in the Koran? Muslims are very combative regarding defending their beliefs. Don't you dare disrespect the Koran. Some cleric may declare Jihad or Fatwa on you, yea, that's Allah, sure. It's the old "angry", "Jealous" God context - don't you dare question anything. I really don't think the Creator of all that is has a "chip" on the shoulder. It is time we "think" a bit about these things. The old - if I don't like something...kill it. Would Allah really empower those who the Koran describes as "lower than ants" the right to judge, torture and kill others? The first step is realizing that these "texts" were written by men, not "God", they are not perfect, they are absolute and they do contain wisdom and inspiration from the Divine - for those men, for their time based on their life - mixed with their human emotions, human perspectives, needs, strengths and weaknesses. We have to stop allowing dead, ancient people who wrote things down to dictate our lives! We have to become present to the fact that we to can be "present" with a living "Creator" that is with us and look there for our guidance and inspiration. We MUST evolve as a species or we will destroy ourselves. Part of that growing up is letting go of the past. There are many false teachings that are clear, plain and simple. These things must change. Some more examples: Judaism was commanded (by God) to conquer and kill entire peoples and cities as part of their history. (Divine right - a common context for war throughout history "It has been commanded by....." Terrorists today use this. The founding fathers of the U.S.A. used this, England used this, we always use this to justify "war" and killing. Christians (Catholic, Protestant, Reformation) bought into torturing, killing, condemning others, stealing property by religious authority the atrocities committed in the name of "Jesus" have been so evil over the past 1700 years, what we think we know of the alleged Christian martyrs in Rome were nothing compared to the horrors delivered onto non-Christians. The name of Jesus is feared, hated and scorned not because of Satan or Evil, but because of what the "Good News" brought to the world in regards to harming others. The history here is horrific. Muslims - factions, folks are beheading people with knives, people are being killed over how they cut their hair and trim their beards. The energy of anger and revenge runs deep. As some women interviewed have said "It's like living in the 17th century here. We have whole nations and areas of the world engrossed in maintaining a method of law and rule that butchers people for crimes and processes that do not acknowledge or use modern technology or thought to require burden of proof. Judges and Clerics themselves seem above the law. People are killing each other within their own belief systems. Women are "hacked up" by their husbands. "The Law" seems to work differently for different people because the "The Law", the Qu'ran, like the Bible has discrimination built into it. The rules are different for non Muslims. It was an important step forward for civilization during a time when baby girls were buried alive in the desert because they preferred sons. Like Christianity a "cap" of Divine knowledge was created "This is the last Revelation..." kind of thing. An "Unlimited" Deity would "limit" communication with humanity through a single source, that is dependant on language, custom and geography? It's not just Islam - all that the "modern" world looks at this religion and shake's its head is part of their history too. Judaism & Rome brought the contexts of "law" to the western world, this created a system where by even rulers were accountable to a basic moral code. Christianity - Jesus - taught us where the Spirit of God resided, told us to love each other, pray for our enemies, and to have compassion. As a result when these things were focused on hospitals, schools, aid, and many charitable organizations surround the world helping others generally regardless of beliefs. Islam - Mohammad - most folks don't know that he pioneered woman's rights. They use to bury baby girls alive to get rid of them because they wanted sons. Islam brought order to a very dark and ruthless area of the world. Some say some Clerics edited things out over time that took away woman's rights, well, "editing" and "adding" is a common manipulation found in all religions. This is why having a "Divine" filter is so important. IT'S TIME TO WAKE UP! NOBODY HAS A DIVINE EXCLUSIVE - SORRY - DEITY WOULD NOT IMPOSE LIMITS This is about thinking. An "Unlimited" deity would not place limitations on their capacity and ability to interact with human kind. Why would an unlimited being, limit it's revelation to anyone, any race, any language, any time in history. Think about it. Is your "God" racist? Deity plays favorites and is racist you either have to accept and promote that or you have to wake up and realize those "less than" teachings are not from Deity. Can't be. You can not have it both ways. One of my Muslim friends told me he had to do his prayers in Arabic, I laughed, and said, "Why, doesn't Allah speak English?" He never thought of that. Really, I am after all an infidel that is clear. I am "Less than". It is not disrespect Islam or my friends beliefs, but it is to help him, and Jews, and Christians and others realize that "their God" is in fact "Unlimited" and will not confined or contained within their limited human perspectives. I draw a tough line on this stuff. These "Less than" fear based teaching are not reflective of the "Character" of Deity. When you really start questioning things the Divinity filter becomes clearer and cleared. Everyday somewhere people are literally killed over "who's right and who's wrong" regarding religious histories and beliefs. It is almost as if our brains are turned off when the topic of religions and spirituality comes up. The histories of our many world "religions" are so brutal and horrifying when observed objectively beg to wonder how could that happen! Many who participate in religion are often clueless to their true histories and live in an odd mix of blind faith, closed mindedness, supported by censored information and self developed propaganda within their belief system. So how do we sort it all out? What if your Catholic and you know there are things that just are not right? How about one of the many "Bible" based faiths or variants. The historical record is not boding well for Judaism, all of Christianity...and Islam...has some "flat earth" issues which are quite interesting, especially where such views had to have come from that nobody wants to talk about. Yet each claims - some will "war" and kill over "Their truth comes directly from the Almighty!" when obviously this can not be completely accurate. Yet within each of these religions besides a horrific history, is a history that advanced civilization. Miracles are recorded and tracked throughout history including present day. Divine wisdom is there and has proven itself in all these religions and many others. Many things "work" and many things do not work. I am not here to prove religious histories or religions wrong. You can spend a lot of time doing that but in the end you'll find that they all have problems, and histories...if your honest are enough to stop and realize this can't be what the "Almighty" intended. What does this reveal? Human beings are powerfully motivated to have and understanding and connection with Deity. It is and has always been one of the most important things to us human beings and there are some things we human beings do agree on...when we pause and use our brains and expand our vision of Deity..."God". I am working on a book that explores all of this in great detail. On one hand it is a lot of fun to "wake up" an realize "wow, I haven't thought of that! Then it is not so fun to get in touch with the ramifications of what those "wows" mean. This is where many end up having to choose...are they in fact committed to "Deity" their creator, or a religion that allegedly represents that creator's wishes hear on earth. That is a brutally painful conflict to deal with. I have good news. You don't have to leave your church, religion or spiritual path. You do need to sort out the Divine stuff from the Human stuff. That is the root of transformation. I've seen and experienced the amazing transformation and hope that someone "accepting Jesus" inspires. I've seen and experienced the power of family traditions and sense of connection in the Jewish community. I've seen and experienced the deep conviction and resolve of the Catholic "faithful", people who have moved mountains and who would argue that Mother Teresa was an amazing woman worthy of "Saint" status. I have observed a dear Muslim friend of mine transform his life by building his 5 Pillars of Islam a man I am proud to call friend. I've prayed for peace with another Muslim man who was from Afghanistan we shared tears praying together. Modern science is still trying to understand the "Shaman" and their proven abilities to heal. HUNA - one of the most beautiful religions ever on the planet is coming back into being after being "outlawed" for nearly a century. WICCA, Witchcraft, Neo-Paganism their true histories are finally becoming known...and it has nothing to do with "evil" and some reading this may not even yet know this. The bible is in grave error. "Fear" is the root of all evil, not the "love of money", the true context there was "obsession", but that is a topic for another time. The root of evil are fear, always have been, always will be. Pray on and ponder this truth. Examine history, war, atrocities...fear is a root of evil. I have witnessed the Divine moving in the hearts and lives of many in present day and throughout history. One day I woke up an realized "Wow...unlimited is just that...means unlimited!" Diversity of religions, beliefs and spiritual practices is one of the core foundations that point two the fact that Deity is in face - "unlimited", and simply "is". I have spent most of my life searching for the "truth". I've always asked tough questions. I've never been satisfied with the "stock" answers I've always received. In early 2004 a "filter" began to be revealed to me that would enable and empower me to discern "Divine inspiration and teaching" from "Human" understanding, and what I would call "Command and Control" doctrines that have nothing to do with the Divine. The filter is easy, simple and powerful. Yet, it requires some thought, and prayer to fully understand and get in touch with it. It cuts to the heart of many false beliefs and teachings. It answers many questions and provides solutions for age old human problems. Many would argue with me on how the filter applies to "their" religion or religious writings, but agree whole heartedly regarding how the filter applies to "other peoples" religions and beliefs. My bottom line is simple - show me a better way, a better option that encompasses the core of what we know of Deity and I'll change/update the filter. .....more to come.... 2/9/2005 I am going to share the filter here. It's actually on my home page, most folks probably missed it. It does require "thought". It is why I do 1:1 coaching and am available to speaking about this. I love to read, and reading is good but folks don't get the spirit and energy behind this. Writing comes off critical. If you read part of this area, you may have felt I was picking on three different religions, then I also mentioned the contributions that are of Divine origin of those same religions. Folks that just got "mad" may not have gotten that far and went away angry. In a life presentation, 1:1, or group discussion we can have fun laughing at ourselves. I'll look a Jew in the eye and say "Does Jehovah like discrimination is Jehovah a racist?", they'll LOUDLY declare it is not so. A Muslim - I'll ask if he believes the Earth is Flat - if he says yes...I'll quietly move on <laugh>, so perhaps not all of what is in the Koran has come from Allah and we - are charged with bringing some sense to how we approach life. We can laugh at our truths. In a room full of Jewish people, we can talk about Christians and Muslims and nobody will argue, all will agree...then when we talk about the old testament folks will get uncomfortable until they allow themselves to realize it's not an attack on their religion or beliefs, but rather a call to reason, a wake up call to tolerance and an ending to teachings that limit Deity. Same with Christians - and Islam, and the other religions from around the world that some would say are more enlightened. They all have their bizarre histories. My charge to you is to realize - you have no enemies. If you do, you have a mission and that is to heal them. I would get in the face of anyone and deliver this message. Jihad? Ok, heal you enemy, see if you are powerful enough to do that. Can you, or are you still a barbaric little nothing that can only "kill" or "threaten" and cause fear for the purposes of intimidation and manipulation? Anyone who knows me, I can get into it with a lot of intensity. HEAL YOUR ENEMY. I dare you. We still torture people today. In the news was about a "leader" who died in captivity from "failure of his blood vessels", i.e. heart failure. I hope someone calls it like it is, he was tortured to death. Today, in our world a man died by the hands of his enemies, alone, tormented and tortured. I was sickened by what that story represented. We use "news-speak" so we do not have to face the horror of who we still are. I wonder, if they would of worked on healing this "enemy", finding out "why" he was an enemy and agreed to work with him to "heal" and to heal his family, if he would of been loved...could there have been a catalyst for change and healing. We'll never know. We still have a context of "Less than". How can we be horrified, when our enemies do horrible things to us, when we are willing to do horrible things to them, and they in turn...revenge and righteousness never end when they are the contexts of which to base our actions. Who's right and who's wrong is relative, it is not absolute. Who will "pay" for the injustice of this man's human rights being violated? When will blood lust EVER be satisfied. It will never end until we change our context to "Heal Our Enemy". THE FIVE PART DIVINITY AND TRUTH FILTER: THE DIVINE:
